To the truth

The space and the absence I have felt moved me to do these pieces, both as a way to help through the grief and as a tribute to all that she gave to what unconditional love meant to me.

Anticipatory grief of any type whether a person, friendship, partner, animal, unwanted situation, is a balancing act. Knowing something will soon leave and yet visually still present and tangible, sometimes I didn’t know where to place myself. BUT I learned to take every single moment FULLY- sadness, pain, funny, sweet tender moments.

And this piece acknowledges all that, the truth.
